Slip and Slide Roll the dice and move along hit the trail what can’t go wrong Shortcuts breed familiar cases Slip back down and start again Live your life on gasoline Slip and slide like Vaseline It often leads to peculiar places Slip and slide to where you’ve been One step forward Two steps back Three move sideways Slip down the cracks One giant step for mankind Too hard to track Three blind eminent, illusional mice lead with all they lack What he see, what he do Watch him make that monkey of you Shot guns feed particular faces That slip and slide the way they do One step forward Two steps back Three move sideways Slip down the cracks One giant step for mankind Too hard to track Three blind imminent, delusional mice Lead with all they lack Ah ……. Ah ……. Roll the dice and move along hit the trail what can go wrong The forgotten breed spectacular cases Slip and slide and start again Ah … Ah …. Ah …… Ah ….

The Monkey Game There’s a monkey on my shoulder a world on my back And a split in my psyche that shows through the cracks Of another day In another way There’s a hole in the ground where the real slip down And a tear in the sky where the tears come from On another day In some other way Ooh ooh When the monkey come Ooh ooh He get you all alone Ooh ooh And when he call your name Ooh ooh You do the monkey game He walk, he talk, he tell you what to do Through the hole in your head where the sun shone through On another day In some other way There’s flaw in your mind and it aches on times And a tear in my eye from the tear in the sky On another day In some other way Solo …………………. Agh …………. Agh…. Here the monkey come Here the monkey go Do the monkey got the gun Only monkey know Here the monkey come Ooh ooh When the monkey comes Ooh ooh He get you all alone Ooh ooh And when he call your name Ooh ooh Gonna play the monkey game Sun shone through It’s another way Another way

Another Crap Night on Kryptonite All he holds is his phone .... our only hope And now there’s an earthquake going on Just another crap night on kryptonite It was nothing to be proud of I’d get up of my ass and put this world to right If I wasn’t so hooked on – kryptonite All she holds is her phone We never talk anymore And all that we know is from reading our posts The only time that we’ve got We watch them slip away If the house is burning down now We'll look the other way Just another crap night on kryptonite It was nothing to be proud of I’d get up of my ass and put this world to right If I wasn’t so hooked on – kryptonite

Hey Hey 04:58
Hey Hey I like your hair I love your lips I love the way you move around I love the way you move your hips Babe I love the way you flash those big brown eyes You’re a babe I love it even when you’re in disguise And if it took a million dollars to look a million dollars then that’s alright it’s all worthwhile You’re a babe tonight And if it took a million dollars to look a million dollars then that’s alright it’s all worthwhile Hey, hey where you been Hey, hey where you going Yeah I love that glare And those ‘Trout Pout’ lips Yeah I love your ice cold stare Colder than a thousand hits Hey, hey where you been Hey, hey where you going Hey, hey where you been Hey, hey where you going If it took a million dollars to look a million dollars then that’s alright it’s all worthwhile Hey, hey where you been Hey, hey where you going Hey, hey where you been Hey, hey where you going Hey, hey where you been Hey, hey where you going Hey, hey where you been Hey, hey where you going

The Night of the Demon Many may say to disappear Many may say he's too far gone Many may try to commandeer you Many may try to rip my song And on and on and on and I can picture it now it's never clearer The strangest of sounds froze you to the bone That flickering light creeping ever nearer Made you run on home And on and on and on and on and As you struggle with time does something haunt you Hunting with dogs just sickens me

Only Heaven Knows You danced like shadow boxing, you moved like molten gold Twisting, glistening, shimmering light, so bold The heavens gained an angel, Earth has lost one too No one moved or no one shone like you Ah ……….. Ah…… …. Monday came, you weren’t home, we saw on TV No one dared to move, not a soul, not you or me Children of a headless tribe, sat in silence, sat and cried 'The children of the summers end' had died Maybe there’s a Heaven, Maybe there’s nothing at all Maybe there’s some place to go, or someone to call Hanging on to something, like you’ll never let it go Moving on, moving somewhere, only Heaven knows A million eyes, a million tears, a million magazines Swept the news, and danced the blues and everything between The heavens gained an angel, Earth has lost one too No one shone or no one moved like you Maybe there’s a Heaven, or nothing else at all Maybe there’s no place to go, or no one else to call Hanging on to nothing, like you’ll never let it go Moving on, moving nowhere only Heaven knows In a café, in a backstreet, in good old London town The bells of old bailey took their toll In the corner of the world where no one makes a sound The bells of solitude are ringing loud Ah ……….. Ah………. Ah ……….. Ah……….. Ah………. We’ll walk through the city of love … . We’ll dance with the stars … We’ll walk through the Heavens above … Through the ballrooms of Mars

Art Crime 04:53
Art Crime Darkness falls through shades of grey, At the centre of your scheme of things I hear you say Moonlit shadows slip away Clawing at your memories while raising all the stakes That stab you through your messy little art Your sorry, sodden, trodden little art And it’s me, it’s the real me It’s the real deal, its real And its crazy , what you do to me The way you make me feel, it’s real I saw your picture on the wall Hung in shame, but most of all No one came or heard your call And no one cared for tittle tattle or the rattle of your sordid little art Your seething, stolen, stinking, bleeding art Steal like an artist, run like a thief The ballerina pirouettes, through lies and disbelief There's murder in the gallery, the cavalier’s dead, Lost his head and someone fled no more was said About that little art That scruffy, scrawny, pornie little art About that little art That scruffy, scrawny, pornie little art And it’s me , it’s the real me It’s the real deal, its real And its crazy, what you do to me The way you make me feel, it’s real And it’s real, It’s real ….. ooh ….. It’s real, what you do to me The way you make me feel ooh ……..

Think i'll go to Glasto In the land of moving curtains Where everyone knows your name No one knows the heartache But they all know the game And they’re crawling through your laundry It’s thrown all o’er the floor And the girl that thought she love you She don’t come round here no more And some Martian bird’s been oogled Somewhere out to sea My imaginary paranoia Just won’t stop following me Hey ………………. And the Mormans have been googled They’re everywhere I look I think I’ll go to Glastonbury and get right off my Facebook I think I’ll go to Glasto I think I’ll go right now Ditch the FN PC Before it brings me down There’s a virus in my hard drive, I’ve been hacked, and I’ve been hooked I just need to get to somewhere Get right off my Facebook In the land of moving curtains Crawling up my path Eating at my confidante Who was slain in the bath My imaginary friends Are strewn all o’er the floor And the girl that thought she love you Don’t come round here no more I think I’ll go to Glasto, I think I’ll go right now Ditch the FN tablets before they bring me down There’s a virus in my hard drive, I’ve been hacked, and I’ve been hooked I need to get to somewhere And get right off my Face …. Book Think I’ll just go anywhere (Stone me now) Think I’ll go right now (Stone the crows) There’s something in my I …. phone (Stone me now) And the tears could bring me down ( Let’s get stoned) There’s a soft spot in my hard drive (Stone me now) I’ve been hacked and I’ve been hooked (On stoney ground) I need to get to Glasto (I’m stoney broke) And get right off my Face … book (And going down) I think I’ll go to Glasto And get right off my Facebook I think I’ll go to Glasto And get right off my Facebook (it won’t stop following me) Hey ......

about

The second album from L'Invisible:Written between the end of 2021 and mid 2022. The album features 8 new songs. The loose working concept was simply the double talk of humans and the trait many have of answering questions with questions. Or, going off piste with their answers. Or,or in many cases, unless the exact precise question is asked then no information (zilch, nada, not a dickie bird , sweet fk all) is volunteered back ... This method of avoidance comes particularly handy when used by many kids to answer parents leading questions. It's also the basic fundamental right of politions and the like and comes absolutely natural to them.So we all had that idea to work with, and what came out of it is probably another good examble of staying shtum about what it's really all about Alfie? ...... Anyway, you say tomato I say tomaeto but at the end of the day what's the price of lemons?

credits

released October 1, 2022

L'Invisible are: Keith Karrot, Brian Karrot and GPFX Powell. They are all multi-musicians (play lots of instruments, not that they all have more sides than a 50p piece or more faces than a townhall clock .... though saying that?) ... lol
Also, it features the fabulous Karen Edwards, Fern 'Moon' Morgan and the Googley Girl lending their wonderful vocal chords.
Mastered by Kevin Jones at eastriver studios
